Sima Patel

For more than a decade, Sima has provided unparalleled support to Starr Finley as a paralegal, office manager and legal researcher. Her background in the legal field uniquely positions her to be an effective team member and problem-solver.

Sima is originally from the UK, where she obtained a strong educational background in law through her LLB and LPC degrees. Prior to joining Starr Finley, Sima worked for a family law firm in the U.K., Benussi and Co., where she assisted clients in the resolution of custody disputes and divorce agreements.

Since joining Starr Finley, Sima has become our resident expert in the entity formation and fundamentals, such as LLCs and corporations, including assisting clients with all of the ancillary paperwork, annual compliance, and licensing required for each client’s specific needs. She’s also highly skilled in reviewing leases and preparing lease abstracts. With her attention to detail and follow-through, Sima is always on hand to help our attorneys and our clients with anything they need to provide the highest quality legal service.

Sima lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children, all of whom keep her busy with school events, extracurricular activities, and fun family outings. She enjoys cooking Indian food (and trying new recipes) while sipping a good glass of wine.
